3D UX and UI Dasboards

The problem is that our users struggle to understand and use the various different McAfee security applications across all their devices and accounts.
Pain points:
1. Users are confused by all of McAfee's various products that don't offer them a consistent experience.
2. Users are often left frustrated trying to download and install their security applications across all their devices.
3. Users struggle to manage their family's security and understand how secure they are across their services.
4. Users find interacting with security applications makes them anxious and they are likely to ignore their security as a result.
Mobile 3D Dashboard Experience
The demo video of these new experiences on a Mobile device can be seen below.
Currently, the user's mobile SAAS dashboard is now presented as a 3D space. The space is live and can be orbited as well as pan and zoom functions. The user's accounts and apps are represented as metaphorical objects in the space which can be interacted with.
A big task on the project was a revisualization of the McAfee "protection score" We decided to make the score "interactive". The user could rotate the dial and create a protection score "goal" for themselves. The 3D space would then light up experiences and push notifications on what actions needed to be taken to achieve the goal.
The 3D space would allow the user to see and take action on many "Dashboard" experiences.
• Show which devices are protected
• Show which devices need activation for protection
• Push alerts on specific devices or spaces
• Show potential upgrades and new services that could be added
• Reward users with updated space decorations or objects for completing certain tasks
• Alert users when certain subscriptions or services on specific devices are needed
With the 3D space as a set environment, we started to generate all the scenarios and experiences that would be needed. We replicated user experiences from the current McAfee Account pages and were able to simplify the experiences for the user. Since the spaces and devices were represented with 3D objects and animations, we didn't need to explain to the users with cards or hints on what actions needed to be taken or why
Desktop Dashboard Experience
We also expanded the "Mobile" experience to the desktop. We wanted to keep the simplicity of the mobile spaces. But the larger screen space allowed other elements to have more focus for direct user interaction. The security Score could now be on a movable transparent modal and other functions could be introduced on toolbars. Some of the current explorations are below.
